Terms & Conditions

By ordering from Buns Out Baking you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Payment is needed to confirm online orders and until payment is received your order cannot be guaranteed. We reserve the right to cancel any order still awaiting payment the day before the dispatch date. Receipt of your invoice is taken as confirmation of your order and because we may have had to turn away other clients and start preparations for your order invoices will remain payable in the event of cancellation or postponement.

Deliveries are made by hand on the date specified in your order, this date can be changed within 72 hours of placing your order, however your new specified date may be unavailable. If another date doesn't suit your needs then the order can be cancelled but only 50% of the payment will be refunded as a cancellation charge. All deliveries are undertaken by Buns Out Baking or a family member. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address on the day of your order; if there is no-one on hand to receive the cakes we will do our very best to leave them in a safe place (with a neighbour, receptionist, caretaker etc.) but we cannot re-deliver you cake another time so it will either be left at the address you have given us (in a safe place) or taken to Riverside Organic for you to collect. If you would like us to deliver to your place of work or somewhere with a mailroom/courier point we are happy to do so but please note that Buns Out Baking cannot accept any liability for the treatment of your order or mishandling once a delivery has been made and the package/s signed for. I will pass storage and care information on to anyone expecting the delivery but once the bakes are signed for we cannot accept liability for the subsequent handling of your bakes.

If arranging your own collection we would advise always bringing a van or car, rather than a motorbike, regardless of how big the collection is. Once bakes have left our property we can not be held liable for any damage that occurs on transit.

All our bakes are baked to order. Refunds, credit notes or a replacement order to the same value will be given only in the event that you receive the incorrect product or if the products are shown to be of unsatisfactory quality. Should this be the case, or if you are in any way unsatisfied with the condition or quality of your cakes upon arrival you must contact us within 24 hours of receipt with images and details. Buns Out Baking will not accept liability for any complaints made after this time.

Postal Boxes ship within the UK with either Royal Mail Tracked24 or Evri's Tracked delivery service. You will receive a notification on the day we ship your order with tracking information . Please note that although all Freshly Baked products will be sent on a next day service we cannot accept liability for any delays that may occur. Please allow 3 working days for your parcel to arrive, no refunds will be given if your parcel arrives in this time frame. Please ensure someone is available to receive your delivery or that you request a Safe Place/delivery to neighbour on the day; in the event of non-delivery the courier may try and redeliver the following day. If you still aren't in to receive your parcel, it will be taken to your nearest delivery office or sent back to me. Buns Out Baking is not responsible for the non deliveries and collection of your parcel will have to be arranged yourself. We cannot take responsibility for non-deliveries occurring as a result of errors with your shipping address or unavailability on the day of delivery.

Buns Out Baking is not responsible for orders not turning up on specific dates. As we work with 3rd Party Delivery companies, only approximate dates are given, these are not however guaranteed so please order earlier then your required date. A 'Don't open until ...' note can be added to your delivery at the time of ordering. No refund will be given for orders that don't arrive by a specific date. We cannot take responsibility for damaged items, there is always the chance that your treats could have a bumpy ride in the post but we can guarantee they’ll still taste great! If the damage is severe then please send us photos of the damage and we can go from there! Returns are not accepted. We take great care to ensure all freshly baked products arrive in perfect condition. If you are unhappy with the condition of your order when it arrives please ensure you take a photo showing any damage and contact us within 24 hours of receipt. We will get straight back to you to sort it out.

We reserve the right to use photographs of orders we prepare on our website, Instagram and Facebook pages. If you would like to specifically request that we do not use pictures of your order, you must let us know at the time of ordering.

If you need to change the details of your order or cancel it altogether please contact us as far in advance as possible. Online orders cancelled more than 7 days before the delivery/collection date will receive a full refund on the order total; those cancelled within 2-6 days of delivery/collection will be entitled to a 50% refund; those cancelled within 48 hours of the order date will not be entitled to a refund (although refunds and credit notes may still be provided at Buns Out Baking's discretion).
